Have you felt the urge - to explore beyond what you are doing?  to share ideas, perspectives, and new insights? to be a part of "no-holds-barred" friendly coffee table discussions? 

If yes, then here is the platform.

 'IIMB Latitude' - is a portal where people like you and I come together to express and explore a range of topics (academic or otherwise).

IIMB Latitude is a forum that celebrates uniqueness and diversity of views. It aims to break boundaries and unleash the intellectual curiosity amongst the IIM-B community.

What happens in a Latitude session?

A speaker would present a topic of his/her interest for 20 min, followed by a discussion for 10 min. The sessions would be in “unconference” mode - completely informal in nature. The speaker is free to choose format, style and content

How do you participate?

Choose and share with us a topic that is “new” and/or “interesting”. Once we receive a line-up of speakers, we will schedule the sessions. There is no restriction on topics. And, of course, you may participate as audience! We meet fortnightly on Wednesdays for a 30 min discussion between 5.30 PM - 6.00PM.

But what is "new" and /or "interesting”?

We agree that it is fuzzy.  Here are a few thumb rules. By "new”, we mean a topic that is new to the Latitude forum. You may choose a topic that is already discussed; but, do so with a different or original perspective. The latter perspectives form the "interesting" topics. Bottom line- Attempt to make it intriguing for the audience. Give them the "Wow" feeling!
